BALTIMORE – Coppin State head men's golf coach Elam Ruff has announced that Marcos Cordoba (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) has signed to play for the Eagles during the 2026-27 season, the inaugural year for the program.  Cordoba is the second men's signee for Coach Ruff and the Eagles.

"Marcos is a rising superstar from the Dominican Republic who began competing in 2023," said Ruff. "Since his debut, he has rapidly established himself as one of the region's most promising junior talents. His accomplishments already include four junior titles, a runner-up finish in the Dominican Junior Tour, a 5th-place performance at the AGJA in Corales, Punta Cana, and a top-20 finish at the Optimist Championship in Florida. We are thrilled to welcome Marcos to the family. He will be a cornerstone of our program, and we cannot wait to see the incredible future ahead of him."
