BALTIMORE – Coppin State head men's golf coach
Elam Ruff has announced the signing of
Jevahn Mikel Sathasivam, the top-ranked junior golfer in Sri Lanka, and the winner of the 2024 Sri Lanka Amateur Open. Sathasivam has become the first-ever Coppin State men's golf signee.
"We are beyond excited to have Jevahn join our program, becoming the first-ever men's golf signee in school history and the first golf signee in 20 years," said first-year head coach Elam Ruff.
"Jevahn is a tremendous young man from an outstanding family who has already achieved so much in the game of golf. His talent, character, and upside are remarkable, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for him both on and off the course. His signing marks a historic moment for our program and sets the tone for the years to come."
