BALTIMORE – Toby Nnadozie scored a career-high 20 points, and three other Eagles scored in double figures as the Coppin State men's basketball team picked up its first win of the season with a 68-60 victory over Navy on Saturday afternoon at PEC Arena. CSU now stands at 1-12 on the season while the Midshipmen fell to 3-9.

- Nnadozie hit 6-of-13 from the floor with three 3-pointers and 5-of-7 for his first career game with 20 points, He added four rebounds and a team-high three steals.
- Jonathan Dunn added 13 points, followed by Julius Ellerbe III and Camaren Sparrow with 11 points apiece.
- Khali Horton recorded six points while Cam'Ron Brown scored five and Peter Oduro got two.

How it Happened
- Coppin took the lead with 3:38 to go in the first half and never looked back.
- The score was 28-22 at halftime after scoring the final six points of the period, with Dunn racking up eight points.
- Coppin outscored Navy in the second half by two points, with Nnadozie scoring a team-high 13 points after halftime.
- The Eagles led by as many as 48-35 with 12:13 remaining after a three by Nnadozie, but Navy cut the advantage to just four points with a 9-0 run.
- At the 5:00 minute mark, Nnadozie capped off a 9-1 spurt with a steal and a dunk, extending the lead back to 57-46, sealing the win for the Navy & Gold.
