CARY, N.C. – Coppin State's women's tennis team dropped a MEAC matchup to NC Central, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at Cary Tennis Park.
NC Central earned the double point with a victory at No. 1 pair
Megan Etienne and
Emperess Johnson, as well at No. 3 duo
Indy Ampaw and
Hana ElSherif.
Mackenzie Jones and
Kenyange Kaounde trailed, 5-3 when Central clinched the point.
ElSherif won four games in the first set at No. 1 singles before falling while Jones won a pair of games in the fourth position.
The Eagles close the MEAC Roundup against South Carolina State on Saturday, March 18.
