GREENSBORO, N.C. – Coppin State's bowling team concluded its weekend at the MEAC Meet #1 on Sunday at Triad Lanes, finishing in fifth place overall. The Eagles won the opening game of its best-of-seven baker match with UAB but dropped the next four to the Blazers to finish in fifth place overall.

For the tournament, Coppin recorded 9,570 pins in 55 games, averaging 174.0 pins per game.
The Eagles return to action on March 19-21 at the MEAC Championships, held at Chesapeake Lanes in Chesapeake, Va.
