BALTIMORE – Coppin State's volleyball team will continue MEAC play as it travels to Princess Anne, Maryland to compete against UMES on Friday, Nov. 5 before returning to the PEC Arena on Sunday, Nov. 7 to host Delaware State. Both matches will be live streamed.

Despite a combined 33 kills and doubles from
Paola Caten and
Miajavon Coleman Coppin (13-10, 7-4 MEAC) fell to Howard last Sunday, October 31 in four sets (28-30, 25-19, 25-17, 25-23).
Caten led all players with 17 kills while committing just two errors on 40 swings to hit .375 on the day. A junior from Tampa, Fla., Caten added 14 digs and a pair of blocks while Coleman finished with 16 kills, 12 digs and a season-high five blocks.

Climbing the Charts
After breaking CSU's kill record on October 15, Senior
Miajavon Coleman is now also ranked in the MEAC's Top 10 in kills with 1,323 and is among the leaders in digs with 263 on the season. Senior
Jordan Celestine ranks fourth in school-history with 219 career blocks. At the Penn Tournament, Celestine matched a career-high with seven blocks against Bucknell before upping that just hours later with eight blocks at Penn.
