  • Ryan McWilliams was the other Eagles player to record a hit and he also drew a walk.

How It Happened (Game 2)
  • Coppin got on the board first with a run in the second as Justin Banks drew a walk with the bases loaded.  Conner Walker scored on the play after being plunked with two outs and getting to third after a single and an error.
  • Maryland Eastern Shore tied it at one with three base hits but the Eagles were quick to retake the lead with two runs in the fourth on RBI hits by Banks and Erik Crossman.
  • The Hawks got one run back in their half of the fourth to make it a 3-2 score, and it remained that way until the eighth when CSU scored a pair.  Nick Martinez drew a walk, and after an error, UMES intentionally walked Banks to load the bases for Crossman who made them pay with a two-run double to left center.
  • The hosts matched the two runs in the eighth to make it a 5-4 score
