HARRISONBURG, Va. – Coppin State's men's tennis team fell at James Madison, 7-0, on Friday at East Campus Tennis Courts. The Eagles fall to 0-3 while the Dukes move to 9-2.
Jorge Rodriguez Rey and
Sam Scala-McNeill took a pair of games in no. 1 doubles but
Zaipo Oula and
Quincy Pettis fell, 6-0 for the Dukes to earn the doubles point. Newcomers
Henrique Sada and
Prabh Bal also took two games in the third spot.
Rodriguez Rey also won four games in the second set of his top singles flight and Sada won a pair of games in set two.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday, March 3 when they host College of Charleston.
