Alexandria Hamilton added ten points while classmate

How it Happened
- South Dakota opened the period on an 8-1 run before Alexandria Hamilton hit a jumper at the 3:07 mark for Coppin's first field goal.
- The Coyotes then scored nine-straight and closed the period on 12-2 run with Tyree Allen hitting a pair of free throws with just over a minute to go.
- The hosts went on another 9-0 run to open the second period to open up a 24-point lead and led by as many 27 before E'Mya Price canned a three just before the half to make it a 39-15 score at the break.
- Coppin scored 17 points in the third quarter while shooting 45.5% from the field, but South Dakota was even hotter from the field, making 58.9%, including 4-of-6 shots from downtown, leading by as many as 39 with 2:40 in the stanza.
- CSU closed the frame on a 10-4 run to pull within 65-32 at the buzzer, starting with a three by Marley Grenway and capped off by a three-point play by Aliyah Lawson.
- The Eagles played nearly even with South Dakota in the fourth, getting outscored by a 17-12 margin.
