HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Chance Graham moved into the top ten on Coppin State's all-time scoring list with 22 points in a 60-47 loss at Marshall University on Tuesday afternoon.

How it Happened
- After trailing 4-1 after the first 3:59 of the game, Alexandria Hamilton led Coppin on a 7-0 run with a three-point play the old-fashioned way as well as another layup 20 seconds later to put the Eagles on top, 8-4 with 2:38 to play in the quarter.
- Marshall hit a three at the other end to pull within one but Jalynda Salley hit a layup with just over a minute left in the period, giving CSU a 10-7 lead after ten minutes of play.
- The Thundering Herd opened the second quarter on an 8-0 run to retake the lead and led by as many as 28-14 with 1:05 left in the first half.
- Chance Graham made a layup with 45 ticks remaining to make it a 28-16 deficit at halftime.
- Graham scored nine of Coppin's ten points in the third quarter as both teams went cold from the floor, combining for 6-of-29 shooting, and Marshall led 40-26.
- Graham scored on a layup just three seconds into the fourth quarter which put her in the top ten on CSU's all-time scoring list, passing Larissa Carter, pulling Coppin to within, 40-28.
- The Eagles pulled to within 52-43 with 2:12 to play on a layup by Salley, but that was as close as they would get the remainder of the way.
Inside the Numbers
- Chance Graham led all players with 22 points, while making all seven of her free throws, along with 13 rebounds to record her second-straight double-double. The all-time leading rebounder at Coppin, Graham moved into the top ten on Coppin's all-time scoring list with 1,080 points, passing both Jeanine Manley ('12) and Larissa Carter ('14).
- Jalynda Salley also notched a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds and blocked a pair of shots.
- Aliyah Lawson made six free throws to finish with six points, Alexandria Hamilton added five points and three steals and E'Mya Price led CSU with three assists.
- Coppin made just 22.4% of its shots but held Marshall to 33.3% shooting to keep it close. The Thundering Herd made 41.2% of their shots in the second quarter and outscored CSU, 21-6. They also made 53.8% in the fourth quarter.
