BALTIMORE – Despite having three players with double-digit kills, including a match-high 19 from
Miajavon Coleman, the Coppin State volleyball team dropped a five-set MEAC heartbreaker to North Carolina A&T (25-22, 24-26, 25-23, 19-25, 15-11) on Friday night at PEC Arena.

Inside the Numbers
- Miajavon Coleman led three Eagles with double-digit kills, finishing with a match-high 19 while hitting .188, to go with 12 digs for a double-double and four blocks.
- Lauryn Harrell added a career-high 16 kills with a .333 hitting percentage and matched Christa Johnson with a team-high six blocks. Johnson hit a team-high .583 with seven kills and zero errors while Jordan Celestine chipped in with a season-high 11 kills along with four blocks.
- Defensively, Ashley Roman was credited with a match-high 22 digs and Paola Caten was also in double figures with ten.
- Brianna Lang assisted on 49 of Coppin's 62 kills as the Eagles hit .203 for the match to North Carolina A&T's .222.
- Salma Gonzales finished with a match-high three aces while Caten, Coleman and Roman had two each.
