RICHMOND, Ky. – Coppin State's baseball team dropped the second of a three-game series at Eastern Kentucky, 15-1, on Saturday afternoon at Earle Combs Stadium. The loss drops the Eagles to 1-6-1 on the year while the Colonels move to 4-6.
Allen Saar continued his hot hitting for Coppin, going 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.

Nazier McIlwain,
Derek Lohr and
Devyan Dyal were the only other Eagles who collected hits on the day as Eastern Kentucky tallied 20 hits on the day against Coppin pitching.
The Colonels got ahead early with three runs in the first before adding another in the fourth before Saar drove in Lohr with a triple to right field.
Starting
Quinn Gleed was unable to finish the fifth inning for Coppin as
Bradley Tuttle was able to retire the final batter of the frame. Eastern Kentucky got to Tutltle in the sixth with six runs before
Caleb Duhay finished off the Colonels with the Eagles trailing, 11-1.
Duhay finished his day on the mound allowing four runs in two innings before
Anthony Martinez retired the final batter in the eighth.
