Christa Johnson kill from
Dominique Madarang before Buffalo went on a five point run. In the second set, the Lady Eagles again took an early lead 4-2. Buffalo would then go on a 10-1 run before Coppin could muster three straight points of their own to pit the score at 8-12. The Lady Eagles would later close the gap to a score of 13-15 after another Rosado service ace and a block credited to both
Elanna Nellis and Stennis. The spark was short lived as Buffalo would finish the second set outscoring Coppin 10-1. The third set saw both teams trade points but Buffalo maintained the lead 9-8. Again, Buffalo would outscore Coppin 17-6 to wrap up the set and match.
