BALTIMORE- Senior outfielder
Alanna Williams went yard as seven different Lady Eagles recorded hits in Game 1 of Coppin State's doubleheader against Mount St. Mary's (MD) on Saturday, March 12 at the Softball Complex at Coppin State University.

The Lady Eagles finished with two run and seven hits.

The Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers took an early 1-0 lead at the end of the opening inning of play.

Danielle Smith led off the bottom of the first inning with a double to right field.

The Mountaineers added three hits and two more runs in the top of the second inning and one hit and three runs in the top of the fourth inning.

Alanna Williams stepped up to the plate and slammed a home run over the left field wall for Coppin State's first score of the game and the team's first home run of the 2016 season.
