BALTIMORE- Three Eagles recorded a hit in against Georgia State on Sunday, February 28. Coppin State was shutout, 13-0.
Freshman infielder Eric Crossman singled to right field in the top of the first inning to get things started for the Eagles.

Andrew O'Dwyer singled to right center for Coppin State's second hit of the game.

Bryant Miranda singled to center field in the fourth inning.
Georgia State finished with 12 hits and 13 runs blanking the Eagles. The Panthers scored two runs in the second inning, six runs in the third inning and five runs in the fifth inning.
Aaron Rea was issued the loss after pitching 2.2 innings and striking out one batter and giving up six hits.
Juan Casillas went two innings striking out a pair and surrendering five hits.
Coppin State will return home to square off against Lehigh University on Wednesday, March 2. The game will begin at 3:00 p.m. in Joe Cannon Stadium.
