BALTIMORE, Md. - The Eagles wrap up the 2016 regular season with a matchup against rival Morgan State University at home inside the Physical Education Complex Auxiliary Gym on Sunday at 3 p.m. Coppin State is 2-9 in the MEAC conference after their 3-1 loss to Maryland Eastern Shore at home last Sunday. They are ranked sixth in the MEAC Northern Division behind Hampton (4-6), but just ahead of Delaware State (1-9).

CLIMBING THE CHARTS
- Junior Glorines Rosado continues to climb up the Coppin State career charts in digs. She has 676 as an Eagle, putting her in fourth place. Next up on the list are Shauniece Steward (3rd, 993) Andrea McGant (2nd, 1,088) and Gabrielle Otero (1st, 1,669).
- In the CSU single-season records, Rosado currently has 332 digs ranking eighth with Gabrielle Otero's 343 recorded in 2012 next on the list.
- Freshman Dominique Madarang joins the single-season record book currently with 599 assists. She has the 9th highest mark in a season with Krystal Williams (8th, 637) recorded in 2003 next on the list.
TEAM NOTES
- Coppin State went 2-7 in the month of October with their only wins of the season coming on the road at Delaware State (3-0) and at Norfolk State (3-2). The Eagles dropped their last three matches in conference play and will host Morgan State in their final match of the season.
EAGLES IN THE MEAC RANKINGS
- Coppin State is third in the MEAC conference rankings in digs with 1,192 this season averaging 13.39 per set.
- Individually, junior Glorines Rosado is the highest ranking Eagle amongst the MEAC conference sitting fourth in digs per set (3.73) and freshman Dominique Madarang is sixth in assists per set (7.05).
SCOUTING THE MORGAN STATE BEARS
- Morgan State (6-19, 6-4 MEAC) went 4-4 in the month of October including a win against the Eagles at home in their first matchup of the season, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-21) on Oct. 14. MSU is hitting .111 as a team, averaging 9.4 kills, 1.2 service aces, 12.4 digs and 1.3 blocks per set.
- Three Bears are averaging over 2.00 kps led by Natashia Barker's 2.52 kps. Keena Browne (2.43 kps) and Haley McClure (2.32 kps) are also great on the attacks. Roi Wallace is their lead setter averaging 7.73 per set and Jasmin Hubbard leads the defense averaging 3.59 dps.
THE MATCHUP: EAGLES VS. BEARS
- Coppin State trails the all-time series against Morgan State 55-8. In each of the last four seasons, Morgan State and Coppin State has split the season series (dating back to 2012). On Oct. 14 at Morgan State, the Bears swept the match 3-0. Natashia Barker had a match-high 17 kills with 12 digs, Roi Wallace had 39 assists and Jasmin Hubbard collected 19 digs. Jasmine Lougheed led the CSU offense with six kills, Dominique Madarang had 15 assists and Glorines Rosado recorded a match-high 21 digs.
