Coppin State (0-3) completes their four game road trip to start the season with a matchup against the #21/25 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers (2-0) on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. This will be the eighth meeting between the schools with West Virginia winning the previous seven meetings including a 96-64 win last season on Nov. 16, 2015.

Vanessa Neal both scored in double figures against George Washington in a 77-46 loss on Wednesday. The Eagles scored a season-high 46 points, made 17 field goals and a pair of three-pointers. Samuels dropped a season-high 17 points with six rebounds and four assists. Neal had a career-high 12 points, five rebounds in 35 minutes played. Freshman
Chance Graham scored six points, grabbed six rebounds and recorded a pair of blocked shots. GW made 45% (32-70) of their attempts from the field while CSU struggled on 25% (17-66). The Eagles made ten free-throws compared to only six by GW but the Colonials held the advantage on the boards 58-33.
GRAHAM NAMED MEAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Chance Graham was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week, announced on Monday, Nov. 14th. The award marks Coppin State's first Rookie of the Week award this season. Graham averaged a double-double of 10.0 points and 10.0 rebounds against VCU and Virginia. She registered 13 points, nine rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist against Virginia.

#21/25 ranked West Virginia (2-0) won both of their games to begin the season and will host the Eagles for their third consecutive home contest. Five are averaging in double figure scoring led by Tynice Martin and Lanay Montgomery is averaging 12.0 ppg with 15.5 rpg.

Coppin State will host Stephen F. Austin in their 2016-17 home opener on Friday, Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
