The Eagles head to the state of Virginia this weekend for a pair of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contests. Coppin State plays at Norfolk State on Friday at 7 p.m.. On Sunday, the Eagles venture to Hampton where they will face the Pirates at 3 p.m.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Eagles wrap up their 2016 regular season with three consecutive home matches. CSU will host Delaware State on Friday, Oct.28 at 7 p.m. Next they welcome Maryland Eastern Shore on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. and then will have their final match of the season on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. versus Morgan State.
EAGLES IN THE MEAC STANDINGS
Coppin State is 1-6 in the MEAC conference after their 3-0 loss to Howard at home last Sunday. They are ranked sixth in the MEAC Northern Division behind Hampton (2-5), but just ahead of Delaware State (0-7).

TEAM NOTES
Coppin State is 1-4 in the month of October with their only win of the season coming at Delaware State (3-0). The Eagles went down in straight sets in their last match versus Howard as the Bison swept the season series…In the Eagles lone victory of the year, they held an advantage in kills, attack percentage, digs and assists.
