BALTIMORE- Playing it's second of four consecutive road games, the Coppin State men's basketball team dropped a 92-55 decision to the Fordham Rams Sunday afternoon at the Rose Hill Gym in the Bronx, N.Y.
 
Coppin State (2-8) scored a season low 55 points on 29.1% shooting from the floor.
 
Freshman Guard 
Lucian Brownlee led the Eagles was a career high 11 points. Brownlee added three rebounds in 21 minutes. It was his first career game leading Coppin State in scoring and first game scoring in double figures.
 
Joshua Treadwell finished with nine points, on 4-of-8 shooting, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in his first career start. Treadwell played a team high 25 minutes against the Rams.
 
Christian Kessee and 
James Sylvester both scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds apiece. Kessee added a team high two steals and Sylvester finished with one. Both Eagles guards added a 3-pointer to their season total.
 
Kessee leads the team with 17 made 3-pointers and Sylvester is second with 11.
 
Coppin State has made at least one 3-pointer in 170 consecutive games.
 
The win was the eight consecutive for the Fordham Ram (8-1) led by Mandell Thomas' 27 points and seven rebounds. Jon Severe chipped in 16 points, four assists and three steals.
 
The Eagles will take prepare for a two-game west coast road trip beginning with a matchup against the University of San Francisco on Friday December 18 in the War Memorial at the Sobrato Center for a 7:00 p.m. (PT) tipoff.
