Coppin State University's Kiersten Bond won the women's long jump competition at the 2016 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday, February 11^th at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Md.

The junior jumper from Aberdeen, Md. won the event on her first attempt. Kiersten Bond recorded a personal-best as well as a Lady Eagle season-best mark with a leap of 5.77m (18-11.25 ft). Bond also qualified for the ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. On March 4^th hosted by Boston University.
