Andrew Althouse brings several years of experience to Coppin State. During his career, he has worked with the men's soccer and basketball teams at Bucknell, men's lacrosse team at the University of Maryland, the football team at the Naval Academy and at James Wood High School in Winchester (Va.). While at Navy, he learned under Hall of Fame trainer Dee Jones and Dr. Jeff Fair.
“Being here at Coppin State is a perfect fit for me,” Althouse said. “I am very excited to be here and working with our student-athletes.”
Among his sport responsibilities at Coppin State will be men’s basketball and softball.
He has worked with many different sports with varying degrees of responsibility during his career. Althouse is a NATA member and a licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Maryland. He has a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and physics from Hood College. Althouse earned his Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Shenandoah University. ?
