Colin Dower is in his first year on the coaching staff with the Coppin State baseball team in 2022, but he is no stranger to the program.
A Coppin State graduate, Dower wore the Navy and Gold from 2012-16 under Coach Sherman Reed. Dower currently ranks fifth in at bats all time and 3rd in hit by pitch for the Eagles.
Dower began his coaching career in 2018 with the Tri State Arsenal baseball program. He was an assistant coach for Bucks County Community College during the 2019 season and coached for the Cortland Crush (NYCBL) during their league championship (2021) where he was recognized as an up-and-coming coach.
With the Eagles, Dower coaches the outfielders, assists with hitting and also serves as their First Base Coach.
Dower received his master's degree in 2020 from Ohio University in recreation and sports sciences/coaching education.
