The Coppin State University Cheerleading squad is currently an all girl team.  Our primary goal is to support Coppin Athletics and the University by leading the crowd at all home basketball games.  We also represent Coppin Athletics at functions and events both on and off campus.

The Coppin State University Cheerleaders enjoy participating in competition each year.  The Coppin State Cheerleaders will attend local and national competitions; under the direction of Head Coach Shandria Proctor.

To effectively represent Coppin State University and Athletics, Coppin Cheerleaders are required to:
Attend all home men's and women's basketball games and tournaments.
Represent Coppin State University both on and off campus at publicity and service events.
Be present at all practices, tumbling sessions and conditioning workouts.
Participate in fundraising events for the cheerleading program.
Maintain a minimum grade point average as pre-determined by the coaches.
Uphold a positive image of Coppin State University and Coppin Cheerleading.
Participate in competitions (both local and national).
