Prior to Coppin State: Attended Shenandoah University as a freshman. She finished as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) runner-up outdoors in the 100 meter high hurdles.
 
High School: Attended Joppatowne High School in Joppa, Maryland….Lettered in cheerleading, basketball, track & field. Hagwood holds the Joppatowne school record in the hurdles of 14.98 seconds.
 
Personal: Born Breana Monique Hagwood on July 27, 1994, in Baltimore County, Maryland…Daughter of Valerie and Kenneth Young….Has three siblings; Mesa, Gabrielle and Curtis
