BALTIMORE, Md. - Coppin State Athletics has recently inducted multiple student athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student-Athlete Honor Society, it was announced by the organization on Monday, May 11.
Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes upperclassmen student-athletes who excel academically, maintaining a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA. In order to be inducted into this society student-athletes must also be in good standing with their athletic program and completed four full time semesters of college.
In addition, Chi Alpha Sigma is the first non-profit organization that recognizes four-year athlete students who excel both on and off the competition field. This year, the newly inducted members of this society include the following student-athletes.
Baseball: Pedro Agosto, Jake Cumming, Emilio Feliciano, Nelson Grajales, Nicco Holland, Terrell Milliner, Elijah Charlot, Armando (AJ) Hurtado
Men's Basketball: Hussain Williams, Favour Aire
Women's Basketball: Khila Morris
Softball: Brooklyn Lee-Scott, Emily Quintero, Taniyah Stafford
Men's Tennis: Rishi Jalota
Men's Track: Godspower Iloba
Women's Volleyball: Beatriz Cornachini, Kayden Cupid
