CARY, N.C. – The Coppin State women's tennis team's season came to an end with a 4-0 loss to Delaware State in the MEAC Tournament on Thursday morning at Cary Tennis Park.
Delaware State picked up the doubles point with a 6-0 victory over
Kenyange Kaounde and
Shakyia Johnson at #2 doubles along with a win by default in the third slot.
Megan Etienne and
Alison Azarak were trailing, 4-1 at No. 1 when the doubles point was clinched.
The Hornets got a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Johnson in the fourth singles position along with default victories at Nos 5 and 6 to seal the victory.
