CARY, N.C. – Coppin State's men's tennis team's season came to an end with a 4-0 loss to North Carolina Central University on Thursday morning at Cary Tennis Park.
Due to moving indoors for the weather, the Battle of the Eagles went straight to singles play, and NC Central automatically went up, 2-0 with default wins at Nos. 5 and 6.
Vansh Kapoor dropped his match at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1, as did
Rishi Jalota, 6-3, 6-2 in the third spot.
Anas Haddou lost the first set of his match at No. 2, 6-4, before the match was clinched by Central.
