BALTIMORE – The duo of 
Indy Ampaw and 
Hana ElSherif earned a victory at No. 3 doubles but the Coppin State women's tennis team fell at Loyola University Maryland, 7-0 on Thursday afternoon at McClure Tennis Center.
 
Ampaw and ElSherif defeated the Greyhounds, 6-4 in the third position, but Loyola picked up the doubles point with a 6-3 win over 
Mackenzie Jones/Kenyange Kaounde in the first position, and a 6-0 victory over 
Megan Etienne/Emperess Johnson at No. 2.
 
Loyola won all six singles matches with Ampaw taking the first set to a tiebreaker in the first flight before retiring in the second.  ElSherif and Kaounde won six games apiece at Nos. 1 and 5, respectively.  Jones picked up five games in the fourth spot while Etienne won four games at No. 2.
 
Coppin hosts Harford CC on Tuesday, April 4 and Wagner on Sunday, April 9.
