BALTIMORE, MD.- Despite outscoring Morgan in the first and fourth quarters, and three Eagles finishing in double figures, Coppin fell to Morgan on Thursday, March 2nd for a final score of 57-49. The Eagles conclude the season with an overall record of 8-12, as they hold the fifth seed in the MEAC for three-way tie at 5-9 in conference play.

Jewel Watkins led the team with 15 points, four rebounds and led all players with two three-point field goals made.

Mossi Staples was the team's second leading scorer with 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and shot an efficient 10 of 13 from the stipe.
