BALTIMORE – The Coppin State University Department of Athletics formally inducted 25 student-athletes on Tuesday morning into the University's Eta Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Collegiate Athlete Honor Society.
The honor is bestowed upon selected junior and senior student-athletes based on outstanding academic performance, character, citizenship, and athletic ability. Members must maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher.

Miajavon Coleman was selected as the President of Coppin's Chapter, which was founded on April 8, 2013.

About Chi Alpha Sigma
Chi Alpha Sigma is the first, and only, nonprofit organization that was established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. Purpose of Chi Alpha Sigma
