Coppin attempted to make a comeback mid-third quarter on a 4-0 run, which included back-to-back layups from Bucknor and Hamilton.  Lawson hit a three followed by Staples with a  lay-up off the break to conclude the third.

The Spiders opened the fourth quarter on an 8-0 scoring run. Coppin stayed true to the physicality of their offense and managed to go 8-of-8 from the line in the fourth.  The Eagles did not recover from their deficit from early on, as Richmond gained victory.
