Ogundeko Leads Women’s Cross Country in Season Opening Towson Invitational

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. – Tatiana Ogundeko led the Coppin State women's cross country team to a sixth place finish at the Towson Invitational at Oregon Ridge Park Friday afternoon.
 
A senior from Waldorf, Md., Ogundeko covered the 4K course in 17:58.2 to finish 33rd overall.  The trio of Cathryn Lane, Erykah Jerome and Jasmine Henery ran as a group to finish 51st, 52nd and 53rd overall in times of 23:13.4, 23:21.2 and 23:43.7, respectively.
 
Ivonna Hoskins also competed, completing the course in 52:14.3.
 
The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, September 7 at the DSU Hornet Invitational at the Delaware State Outreach & Research Center in Smyrna, Del.
