First Quarter
- Back-to-back free throws from Brooke Fields gave CSU a 7-6 edge going into the first media timeout.
- South Carolina State would rebound by outscoring Coppin 9-6 for the remainder of the period to give the Bulldogs a 15-13 first quarter advantage.
Second Quarter
- SCSU rolled out five straight points to begin the second before a Fields three-ball cut the deficit back to four, 20-16 SC State.
- A 7-2 run from the Lady Bulldogs pushed the lead to 12 with 1:22 remaining in the first half at 32-20 SCSU.
- CSU would provide a mini 4-1 outburst to cut the margin to single digits as the two sides headed back to the locker rooms with South Carolina State holding a 33-24 halftime upper-hand.
Third Quarter
- Consecutive triples from Kaiya Coleman and Brooke Fields infused life into the Coppin State comeback, as the gap shrunk to two, 41-39 SC State.
- The Bulldogs responded by rallying for an 11-5 rebuttal to grow its lead back up to eight, 52-44 to end the third.
Fourth Quarter
- The Eagles and Bulldogs played to a stalemate over the first five minutes and change, with each notching four points apiece, 56-48, South Carolina State.
- After a free throw by Chance Graham made the score 59-50 SCSU, SC State gradually iced the contest, outscoring Coppin 16-9 down the stretch to tally a comfortable 75-59 win over the blue and gold.

- Brooke Fields had yet another sensational outing, topping the 20-point threshold for the third straight contest, pacing the Lady Eagles with 24 points to lead all game scorers. Fields is averaging an even 20 points per game over her previous ten outings.
- Chance Graham joined Fields in reaching 20 points, accumulating 22 of her own to go along with a game-high four steals and three blocks.
- Graham tied her career-high in both free throws attempted (14) and free throws made (12) which is nothing new for the junior as she came into the game ranked fourth and fifth in the nation respectively in those two categories.
- Tsahai Corbie was a surprising contributor in the rebounding department, roping in eight boards on the night to lead the squad and double her previous season-high of four.
- South Carolina State's leading scorer and rebounder was Taylor Brown who went for 20 points and 18 rebounds while also dishing out a game-best six assists.
