BALTIMORE, Md. – Candice Beverly scored a career-high 20 points but a third quarter doomed Coppin State's women's basketball team as it fell at Morgan State, 73-59 on Monday night at Hill Field House. The Eagles fall to 6-21 on the year and 5-10 in the MEAC while the Bears improve to 15-13 with an 8-7 mark in conference play.
A senior from Fredericksburg, Va., Beverly sunk 7-of-13 shots from the floor and all six free throws to go with five rebounds while playing all 40 minutes of the game.
