Chance Graham produced her seventh double-double of the season (18 points, 15 rebounds),
Kaiya Coleman (4 assists) and
Jalynda Salley (10 points) both set new career-highs, and
Brooke Fields broke her season-high for assists (6) to highlight Coppin State's top performers on the night.

First Quarter
- Two free throws and a bomb from Kaiya Coleman had Coppin up 5-0 before most fans could find their seats.
- Chance Graham would contribute the next five CSU points to keep the advantage at five, 10-5 CSU.
- FGCU ended the first quarter on a 22-2 run, 27-12 FGCU.
Second Quarter
- Florida Gulf Coast was able to slowly build its lead to 20 with a 13-8 run to begin the second, 40-20 FGCU.
- A three-pointer by Chandler Ryan accompanied by five points from Nasrin Ulel brought the green and blue Eagles from FGCU into the media timeout up 48-20.
- Neither side could muster up many points for the final five minutes of the half, as both Eagle teams combining for five points heading into the half, 51-22 Florida Gulf Coast.
- Brooke Fields had herself a solid first half, tying her season-high for assists with four.
- Florida Gulf Coast came into the contest second in the country in three-pointers attempted and made per contest. FGCU lived up to its reputation with 76% of its points coming from deep and hit 13 of its 25 shots behind the arc.

- CSU won the second half of the third quarter, outscoring FGCU 11-8 as Graham (6), Fields (3) and Jalynda Salley (2) all pitched in, 78-39 Florida Gulf Coast.
Fourth Quarter
- Gulf Coast kept pouring it on, with 10 unanswered in a 1:23 span to watch the lead swell to 87-46, FGCU.
- Coppin State used a 15-6 run to end the contest and build some momentum for tomorrow's contest but ultimately fell by a score of 93-61.
