Teo Bennett and
Brandon Baskerville each broke Coppin State school records on Friday at the Armory Collegiate Challenge at the Armory Track and Field Center.
Bennett broke the school record in the 60 meter dash, while Baskerville broke his own school record in the high jump.
Bennett won the 60 meters in a time of 6.82, which topped the previous school record of 6.85 held by Winston Whittingham. He also finished second in the 200 meters in a time of 21.61.
Baskerville became the first Coppin State jumper to ever clear 7-00.00 when he captured first place with a jump of 7-00.25. He topped his previous school record of 6-10.25 set at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
Jibri Victorian qualified for the IC4A Indoor Championships in the 400 meters as he placed third overall in a time of 49.16, which met the standard of 49.20.
Bengallo Morris on was ninth in the 500 meters in a time of 1:05.85.
