BALTIMORE -- The Coppin State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Virginia State in the Eagles season finale on Sunday at the Coppin State Tennis Courts.
With the loss Coppin State completed its season with an 0-17 overall record.
Jennifer Mitchell picked up the Eagles only victory on the day when she defeated Keshia Holmes by default at No. 2 singles.
The Trojans won the remaining five singles matches and the two doubles matches in straight sets.
