Senior jumper Shane Green advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the men's triple jump on the final day of the NCAA East Preliminary ranking 11^th with a personal best performance.

Green placed 11^th overall in a field of 48 competitors in the triple jump event. He measured in with a personal record of 15.85 meters qualifying for his first trip to nationals in his final season at Coppin State.

The Brooklyn, N.Y. native adds on to an impressive season for the Eagles after winning gold at the ECAC/IC4A Championships and taking silver at the MEAC Outdoor Championships in the triple jump. With his breakout performance Green is headed to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. at historic Hayward Field from June 8-11.
