Navy Pitching Stars

Giovanni Canales pitched two great innings for the with four strikeouts and allowing just one hit and a walk.
Freshman Christian Pareja made his debut allowing just one run with two strikeouts in two innings of work.

Navy Offensive Stars

Freshman outfielder Bryce Thompson and redshirt junior Toran Smith both singled and walked for Navy.

Gold Pitching Star

Junior Tyler Nichol pitched two innings, allowing just one run on one hit and a walk while striking out four.

Gold Offensive Stars

Senior Brian Nicolas, the 2022 MEAC Tournament MVP, picked up right where he left off with the hot bat, blasting a solo home run to right, giving Gold a 1-0 lead.
Sophomore Kevin Miranda also singled and scored the team's second run.
