The Lady Eagles fell to Caldwell 762-888, #14 St. Francis - PA 722-1085, Wilmington 776-943, #24 Youngstown St. 730-972, and St. Peter's 668-856. Nia Turner who averaged 182 in five matches today, with a high of 203 against St. Francis - PA.
Turner shinned brightly for the navy and gold as she completed two out of five matches with scores above 200. She bowled a 203 against St. Francis - PA and a 202 against Wilmington. The last time Turner bowled over 200 was at this tournament last year when she bowled a 214 against Virginia State.
Turner finished ranked 36th for total pins (910) out of 125 bowlers today.
Erica Monk finished the day ranked 72nd after knocking down 605 pins for the day and averaging 151.75 in her four matches.
Aushia Mclean was close behind being ranked 75th individually with 569 pins downed in four matches.
Jasmine Newman ranked 83rd while
Mya Hamlett and
Jazzleen McRae ranked 90th and 91st respectively after downing 486, 417, 394 pins.
The Lady Eagles return to action and look to garner their first win as they travel November 3-5 to participate in the Virginia Union Invitational at Bowl America Southwest in Midlothian, VA.
